As Director, Michael King knows a thing or two about cost estimating. He’s been in the construction business for 35 years, first as a bricklayer then as a tuckpointer, and has worked as an estimator for over a decade.

Michael has worked on large-scale commercial contracts including The Immigration Museum, Melbourne Grammar and Geelong Railway Station, and more recently honed his expertise on residential custom-designed homes across Victoria, with budgets ranging from $300,000 to $9M+.

Honesty, transparency and accuracy are central to the Build Cost Estimate way and are qualities for which Michael has become renowned.  He adopts a case-by-case approach respecting each project’s unique budget, requirements, design and challenges.
